What makes EBC so impressive is its large scale, a dazzling array of activities, hefty prizes, and novel exhibition forms. Yet the flip side is that the site was always packed with a sea of people. Multiple industry magnates made their presence here, so that we can have a face-to-face, deep technical discussion with them. Many thanks to EBC, through which I have learned about the latest technology in the cell therapy and acquired the experience of the whole process of CAR-T cell therapy products from R&D to marketing, which I believe will be helpful to our company’s future R&D and CMC.

Moreover, there are numerous exhibitions on suppliers of bioreagent consumables and equipment, which facilitates collaboration between R&D and manufacturing companies. Many special activities are also carried out, such as company tours and face-to-face dialogues with magnates, so that you can have an in-depth understanding of the R&D and production processes of biotech companies and talk with the big names in biology about the status quo and future opportunities of the industry.

The venue was large-sized, couple with the well-arranged, clearly-classified booths, attracting a fairly large number of exhibitors. The lectures and discussions on various topics in the pharmaceutical section were covered, on which vivid and in-depth speeches were made by guest speakers. I may not understand some of the techniques as a representative from the investment sector, yet I found them very rewarding. I wish EBC a greater success to last for up to 100 sessions.

The events include the three enterprise tours that pharmaceutical companies can sign up for in the early stage, the highly sought-after face-to-face dialogues with industry magnates, and the plurality of activities in the exhibition area including the booth design themed with “I Love EBC”, the establishment of the Enmore pop-up store, and the interaction in the game area. Through company tours, senior executives can have high-end, in-depth communication with each other, while the face-to-face dialogues allow the industry magnates to “come down from the altar” and sit around with the exhibitors at the same table for discussions. In this way can they acquire different voices, exchanging ideas and insights mutually instead of listening to a monologue from a single speaker at the lecture, which is a faster way to learn and pursue self-improvement.
